Fernando Forestieri is back after a knee injury that kept him out for two months, but Sheffield Wednesday supporters aren’t keen to see him back. The 30-year-old has made 10 appearances in all competitions, scoring just one goal, as he’s spent the majority of the campaign either suspended or injured.
Such a gutless team. So many players need to go now. Lees, Odubajo, Hutch, Lee, Pellupessy, Winnall, Rhodes, Nuhiu, Forestieri for a start. #swfc

If I was Monk, I'd get rid of Winnall, Nuhiu, Rhodes, Lee, Lees, Palmer, Odubajo, Reach, Forestieri, Pelupessy, Westwood.
Bannan would be very close too, but I think he would offer a lot more further forward.#swfc

Wednesday have lost five of their last six Championship games, scoring one or less goal four times. The Owls could be without top scorer Steven Fletcher until March and are looking to bring in another striker before the transfer window shuts.
It remains to be seen whether Forestieri is the answer to their problems, however, as he’s scored only seven goals in his last 37 appearances. The Italian striker may have an uncertain future as a result. His contract is up in July and Wednesday haven’t offered him an extension and may be open to selling him this month.
Forestieri’s five-year association with the Owls could be coming to an end if he doesn’t have the desired impact during the second half of the season. Some fans don’t believe he’s an asset worth keeping regardless.
