Sheffield Wednesday lost 5-3 to Fulham on Saturday afternoon but Atdhe Nuhiu was one of the few players to come away with any credit. The 30-year-old came off the bench in the second half and bagged two goals to take his tally to a half-century in Wednesday’s colours. Supporters were disappointed with the result but happy with Nuhiu’s contribution.
When he's played correctly he definitely has a positive impact. Usually as a substitute.

So seen a lot of Nuhiu debate today so here’s my feelings! Great impact sub don’t think that can be argued. Scary he is outshining Rhodes and wickham! One of few players who looks like he gives a toss! Great character in the dressing room. I agree we should strive for better but

Say what you like about Nuhiu but he did his job today 🤷♂️ #swfc

My only positive comment today regarding #SWFC is Atdhe Nuhiu reaching 50 goals for the club. He takes so much stick but for me he does offer something different and should stay. Congrats Atdhe 5️⃣0️⃣⚽️🦉

Two consistencies. Losing due to a poor start and Adthe Nuhiu stepping up to the plate from the bench. Cant deny he makes a difference anymore. Massive shakeup needed to get us promoted from League 1. #SWFC https://t.co/Dr2o83Y2hq

Great achievement considering how little game time he gets most underrated player the current squad. The man may not be quick but no’s where the back of the bet is.

Changed my opinion on Nuhiu.
There's something about him.
Managers & team mates love him & appreciate what he brings. He won't be on astronomical wages & every now & again he can make a massive impact.
No harm to have as a back up squad player.
Give him a year.#SWFC— Added On Time (@added_on_time) July 19, 2020
Meh, I’d disagree, I think Nuhiu has had his fair share of chances and doesn’t impact the game when he starts, he’s a good impact sub but can’t ever rely on him when he starts the game. That’s based on what I think anyways

He’s a decent squad player for a team in our position. Play to his strengths and he would be ok.

Against Fulham, Nuhiu played for 45 minutes, had 22 touches, won six aerial duels, completed 66.7% of his 12 passes, created two chances, had five shots with two hitting the target, gave away two fouls, made one clearance and had one dribble.
The £360k-rated striker joined Wednesday on a free transfer from Rapid Vienna in 2013 and has gone on to make 276 appearances in all competitions, scoring 50 goals with 27 assists. Nuhiu has made 40 appearances across the board this season, scoring seven with four assists, but this could be his last campaign at Hillsborough.
Nuhiu is out of contract this summer and only extended his deal for another month, so he may not be retained past 2020 as he’s fallen down the pecking order. Time will tell.
