Sheffield Wednesday have Paul Jones, Morgan Fox, Kieran Lee, Joey Pelupessy, Sam Hutchinson, Sam Winnall, Atdhe Nuhiu, Fernando Forestieri and Steven Fletcher out of contract this summer, but the nine players aren’t the only ones with uncertain futures at Hillsborough.
Keiren Westwood, Adam Reach and Jordan Rhodes are coming off the back of a disappointing season and may be deemed expendable by Garry Monk. Reach in particular admitted that he underperformed for a lot of the campaign, so many supporters aren’t bothered if he left the club in the coming months.

Reach joined Wednesday from Middlesbrough in 2016 and has gone on to make 174 appearances in all competitions, scoring 18 goals and making 30 assists.
As per Transfermarkt, the 27-year-old was a regular in 2016/17 (42 appearances, 3 goals, 4 assists), 2017/18 (53 appearances, 4 goals, 11 assists), 2018/19 (46 appearances, 9 goals, 7 assists) and 2019/20 (33 appearances, 2 goals, 7 assists), but his performances in the last nine months might seal his fate.
Wednesday could be left with only 13 players in the first-team, so Reach might be important to keep. The wide-man hasn’t been at his best, but he’s good enough to be a squad player. Fans seem to have lost their patience, however.
