International breaks are usually a dull and boring affair and given Sheffield Wednesday’s continuing eye on Financial Fair Play, we don’t even get the up kick in pointless transfer rumours that other clubs can at least fill the space with. The September break was slightly different given the appointment of manager Garry Monk and the backroom news that spanned off from that, but the break in the fixture list also allowed some reflection on our start to the campaign given our results over August.
Summer signing Julian Borner made the switch to Hillsborough over the window as a free agent, arriving from Bundesliga 2 side, Arminia Bielefeld and he’s certainly had an impact on the fans, as on Wednesday, the club announced that he’d been named our Player of the Month.

Having settled in nicely to the club, despite all the changes we’ve seen since he agreed to actually join us, fans were delighted with his acknowledgement and it seems plenty expect more from him as the month’s tick by.
Amazingly well

Great start to his Owls career. Be great when his English improves. Future captain.

He's got the potential to be our best player IMO

one player so far that we can be confident he will put a good shift in.Let's look at our attackers instead as something needs to happen.Borner is great and can manage the defence but my question is who is going to score goals for us this year?Which striker can score consistently?
