Earlier this afternoon Sheffield Wednesday detailed the way Owls fans could be one of the first to see the new home kit for the Championship campaign of 2018/19.
Here's how to see our 2018/19 home kit FIRST!
Sign up to our database and we'll send every single subscriber the design of our new home kit FIRST before release across our online channels!

With new GDPR data protection rules in place – I’m sure fans are well aware of them with the abundance of ‘do you love us, can we have permission’ emails in recent times – it’s quite a novel way around ensuring fans to pass permission over or sign up fresh.
In order to see the new kit, fans had to sign up to the clubs’ database and agree to receive the latest news, ticket information, merchandise flyers, hospitality and whatever else goes into Hillsborough ‘outbox’.
For those already registered, they simply had to confirm one or two things.
That wasn’t the main issue for fans though, it was the fact that there was no release date associated with the kit. Naturally, many feared a repeat of last season where those wanting to buy the shirt had to wait until October before they could do so.
Another new kit? The last one has only been out a couple of months #swfc

Nobody is bothered about seeing it FIRST. People just want assurances that they can see it before November.

So aren’t we last club In the league to bring our kit out? Ahahahaha

They realise that as soon as one person sees the design it’ll be plastered all over the hashtag anyway? ????

So disappointed to see @SWFC (and pretty much every club) trying to cash in and get money off supporters at every turn. It will carry on happening until enough people start to say no

Be nice to have had a full season wearing the old kit before the new ones sold

So what if it’s like last season it won’t be available till half way through the season anyway.
