With a ‘soft’ unveiling of the new home strip for Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship season of 2018/19 coming this weekend ahead of Owls in the Park on Sunday, it’s fair to say it’s not a bad effort at all really.

The strip sees the blue and white stripes return to the front of the shirt, with a solid blue backing. Shorts change to black with blue socks and a black turnover. The kit went on sale at the Megastore on Sunday and online sales will follow at midday Monday.
The away strip for 2018/19 will follow in due course.
With fans already making their thoughts known that they didn’t necessarily want to be the ‘first’ to see the new shirt, they just wanted to buy it hopefully before November, reactions were mixed but plenty certainly liked it.
One thing that came out of the club’s question above, however, was the opportunity for a bit of japery and plenty were willing to take full advantage of that on social media.
