Adam Reach came away with a lot of praise from supporters after Sheffield Wednesday’s 4-0 win over Nottingham Forest. The 26-year-old picked up an assist in Saturday’s game and created numerous opportunities for teammates throughout the 90 minutes.
Hutch is a fantastic footballer but can be very rash at times. (Which I don’t have a problem with) but Luongo looks a more assured selection for me.
Just a quick shout out for Adam Reach too. Had a brilliant game today down the right— Matty G (@WTID87) December 14, 2019
First smiles since Thursday – brilliant from Rhodes. And Reach. Get in #swfc

FT: Owls 4-0 Forrest
What a showing from Jordan Rhodes. He is now joint in 2nd for most goals this season. Some incredible play from our midfielders, don’t discredit them. Reach was everywhere, putting the ball in dangerous positions.
Top away performance! #SWFC

Whilst Rhodes takes all the headlines, and rightfully so, a thought for Adam Reach who showed signs of his form from last season. That cross for Rhodes' second was a peach.
Without Sam Hutchinson and the third game in seven days, today's result was some effort from the Owls.

Against Forest, Reach played a full 90 minutes, made 60 touches, created two chances, had three shots, won two aerial duels, completed 83% of his 47 passes, boasted 100% cross accuracy, made one successful dribble, drew one foul and made one interception.
The 26-year-old has made 23 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring and creating six goals. Reach has contributed two goals in his last four outings and is a regular under Garry Monk. He’s started Wednesday’s previous two games and should keep his place against Bristol City on Sunday.
How will Sheffield Wednesday fare against Bristol City?
Win
Draw
Lose
Wednesday’s win over the weekend saw them move into the Championship playoffs. The Owls are fifth in the table with 36 points from 22 games, boasting three wins and two draws from their last five. Monk’s men are 11 points adrift of the automatic promotion spots, but their impressive form should keep them in the top-six.
