Bragging rights go to Blades Youngsters

Two weeks ahead of the senior Steel City Derby, the Owls and Blades Under-18s met at Sheffield United`s Shirecliffe base.

It`s proving to be a difficult season for the fledglings, as fixtures don`t come easy at this level. Goals from Adam Chapman and Jack Adams gave the Blades youngsters a 2-0 win.

The Owls now face another tough test next week against the established academy of Middlesbrough. Kick off at Middlewood Road is 12 o`clock and with the international break, fans should pop down to support the lads and to catch an early glimpse of any future stars.
