Sheffield Wednesday duo Barry Bannan and Steven Fletcher have been called up by Scotland manager Gordon Strachan for the coming international break.

The next international break of 2017 sees Scotland face a World Cup Group F qualifier against England on June 10.

There are a number of changes from the last squad with the likes of Newcastle United duo Matt Ritchie and Grant Hanley missing out following their promotion back to the Premier League, and Leipzig’s Oliver Burke, West Bromwich Albion’s Matt Phillips and Middlesbrough’s Jordan Rhodes all miss out as well with some injury concerns and rest factoring in.

Brighton see Jamie Murphy called up and Aberdeen duo Kenny McLean and Mark Reynolds get the shout.

Scotland sit in fourth place in the Group F table, two points behind Slovakia and four further points behind England in top spot.
