Sheffield Wednesday came from behind twice to emerge from Blackburn Rovers with a 2-2 draw.

Three of the goals came in a first half that Rovers edged, with Hope Akpan and Corry Evans scoring either side of Modou Sougou for the Owls.

Wednesday significantly upped the ante for the second period and finished with a flourish, with substitute Lucas Joao nodding a late equaliser to give the visitors a share of the spoils.
