ALAN Irvine will be looking for his men to end a two-game losing run when they make the long trip to Home Park to face Plymouth Argyle this weekend.
The Owls lost top spot in League One last weekend when they fell to their second 1-0 defeat in the space of a week against Carlisle United at Hillsborough.
But Irvine will be looking for the trip to Home Park to get his side’s quest for a return to the Championship back on track against a Pilgrims side that has struggled out of the blocks since relegation last season.

‘They have got a very powerful team. Players like Kari Amason, who has played a lot of games at centre half and is playing at midfield player and he is good at that job. He’s got a huge throw which Plymouth use to good effect and they send up both centre halves and a big centre forward when they are doing that so they will put you under pressure.
‘They have also got some quality in the wide areas as well, if Noone plays, if Bhasera plays they have got some quality there. Fletcher in the middle of the park has got a lot of experience and is also a good player.’

Romain Larrieu is set to return in goal for Peter Reid’s side following an injury to regular number one David Button in Plymouth’s clash with Colchester United last weekend.
Button suffered an ankle injury, giving Larrieu the chance to regain the number one spot with a good performance against the Owls this weekend.
But the Pilgrims could be boosted with a timely return of captain Carl Fletcher who has missed the last two games through a thigh injury.
Fletcher is set to get the nod to return to the starting line-up by Peter Reid but the Argyle boss still has doubts over Luke Summerfield and Onismor Bhasera who have knee and groin injuries respectively.
Former Owl Steve Maclean is set to be named in the squad but is unlikely to start.

He may not be a starter on Saturday, but Maclean will relish playing against his former club if he gets the chance, and will no doubt be score to bag another winner, which will also help him in his battle for a first-team role with the club.

Neil Mellor is set to get the nod for the trip to Home Park after recovering from a bout of illness.
The on-loan hitman will be pushing for a starting place, with Clinton Morrison and Marcus Tudgay also in contention.
