Wednesday have parted company with young striker Nathan Modest by mutual consent.
Modest came through the Wednesday Academy but failed to break into the first team and was sent out on-loan to Darlington last season to get some match experience.
He earned promotion to the first team squad in the 2008-09 campaign but that’s as far as his progress took him at Hillsborough.
It’s as yet unknown whether the youngster has another club lined up to move to.
Modest’s departure follows David McGoldrick’s return to Nottingham Forest from a loan spell at S6 yesterday.
