The Football Association have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Sheffield Wednesday and Reading this Friday.
Sheffield Wednesday host Reading on Friday January 26 for the FA Cup fourth Round tie at Hillsborough and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.
Referee: John Brooks
Assistant Refs: Akil Howson and Craig Taylor
Fourth Official: Ross Joyce
Match Day referee Brooks has officiated 32 games in 2017/18 showing 99 yellow cards and four red cards so far.
In 2016/17 he was new to the Football League, having taken charge of 21 games at National League level the season before.
Last season he took in 36 games, showing 150 yellow cards and ten red cards.
He showed nine straight yellow cards in the Bristol Rovers v Gillingham clash, and showed eight yellows and one red on two occasions throughout the season.
Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
