Megson Charged With Improper Conduct

Wednesday boss Gary Megson has been charged with improper conduct following the Owls’ 1-1 draw with Dagenham & Redbridge at the weekend.

Megson was sent to the stands at Victoria Road after protesting to referee Steve Rushton following appeals for a penalty which were waved away by the official.

The Football Association has acted swiftly in charged the Owls boss and he has until 4pm on Monday to respond.

The charge comes under FA Rule E3 and Megson could well appeal against the decision in the coming days.
