Congratulations to Wednesday forward Lucas Joao as he has earned his first call-up to the full Portugal national side.
The powerful striker could make appearances in back to back friendly`s against Russia and Luxembourg, with the Portuguese side including Ronaldo and Joao travelling away for both games.
Joao joined the Owls over the summer from Portuguese outfit Nacional and has proved a big hit with the Hillsborough faithful, and since his arrival has bagged four goals along the way, Including strikes against Brentford, Rotherham and Arsenal.
Joao has represented Portugal at Under-20 and Under-21 level on five occasions, netting twice.
