The Owls were drawn out of the hat for the FA Cup first round yesterday but it’ll be the under-18s team that’ll get the first crack in the FA Youth Cup tomorrow night.

Sean McAuley’s young guns will be looking to do what the Wednesday senior side couldn’t do and beat Carlisle United at Brunton Park just a week on from the senior match-up, which the Owls lost 3-2.

The FA Youth Cup, like its older brother, is a prestigious competition and Wednesday will be looking to progress as far as possible.

Last time the sides met in the competition a certain Gary Madine netted for United in a game the Cumbrians won on penalties.

The match kicks-off at 7pm for anyone travelling over, and admission is priced at £3 for adults and £1 for concessions.
