Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Adam Reach has been crowned the PFA Fans’ Championship Player of the Month for September.
The 25-year-old took in five games last month, scoring in matches against Reading and Leeds United and helping himself to two assists. Across the month we took eight points from the clashes, and he found himself on a six-man shortlist that included:
Bradley Dack – Blackburn Rovers
Neal Maupay – Brentford
Liam Cooper – Leeds United
Pontus Jansson – Leeds United
Dwight Gayle – West Bromwich Albion
Securing the vote by 36% he was the clear winner and to be honest, he probably deserved it for his thunderous volley in the Yorkshire derby as that is an outright Goal of the Season contender already.

With the club confirming that news yesterday, Owls fans were delighted with his recognition given the improving performances that he’s been putting in for us so far in 2018/19 under Jos Luhukay as he’s proving himself to be a key player for us on the pitch.
