Wednesday trio Barry Bannan, Daniel Pudil and Gary Fletcher have been once again been called upon to represent their countries during the upcoming World Cup qualifying in November. The Owls face Ipswich Town this Saturday (November 5th) prior to the short international break.
The high profile match between old rivals England and Scotland has added spice following FIFA`s bungling of the Poppy request from both countries FA`s. With that Group F clash set to take place on Friday November 11th at Wembley. Scottish duo Bannan and Fletcher will be aiming for some game time in the 7.45pm kickoff.
With the Owls duo aiming to delete England`s
seven points total that sees them top Group F. Whilst wanting to see the Wednesday duo perform well, can many Owls fans say they’d like to see a Scotland win? Me neither!
Also left back Daniel Pudil will head to face Norway in a World Cup qualifier on Friday November 11th as the Czech Republic head to the The Eden Arena in Prague before hosting Norway`s neighbours Denmark in a friendly at the Adidas Arena, Mladá Boleslav a few days later on November 15th.
