Today saw the departure of Jonathan Hill and Paul Senior from Sheffield Wednesday as the club earlier released a statement saying that they had both left employment. But what does this tell us as fans?

When Dejphon Chansiri first took over the club, he had never previously been involved with a football club. This lead to him creating a committee to help him make decisions within the club. Today, two more members of that committee have left, leaving Glenn Roeder still at the club. The committee is evolving and shows Chansiri’s willingness and ability to adapt to do what’s best for the club.

This move says a lot about how much Chansiri has learnt from his short time of ownership of the Owls. We feel that it shows a rise in confidence from the Thai businessman. It might be time for him to tackle this on his own and this should fill Owls fans with confidence. Now is the time we can sit back and look at how far we’ve come as a club, and how far we can go under Chansiri.
