Wednesday Keeper Receives Huddersfield Approach

|

It’s been reported this week that relegated Premier League side Huddersfield Town have made an official approach to sign soon to be out of contract Republic of Ireland international goalkeeper Keiren Westwood.

Westwood’s 2018/19 season only really began half way through the campaign as former manager Jos Luhukay sidelined him for reasons that were unknown, yet always felt like financially led, but having regained his place in the first team setup, he certainly proved his continued worth under new manager Steve Bruce given our incredible unbeaten run that almost took us to a Play-Off dream this year.

With it known that Westwood’s deal expires this summer, plenty of Sheffield Wednesday fans have called on the club to offer him a new deal, but the Football Insider have claimed this week that Huddersfield have also put an offer on the table for him.

So with it believed that we have also tabled a new deal, the 34-year-old has choices.
