With Sheffield Wednesday’s announcements beginning this week on Wednesday, there appears to be a strong ‘one a day’ theme to things as Moses Odubajo was announced on Thursday and Friday’s revelation was the expected new deal for Liam Palmer.
In the afternoon the club announced that the 27-year-old Academy product had now signed a new three year deal at Hillsborough keeping him with us until the summer of 2022.
???? The journey continues for Liam Palmer at Hillsborough!#swfc

Having come through the ranks since the age of seven, he’s gone on to make 224 senior appearances for the club and given all the ongoing Steve Bruce shenanigans with Newcastle United at the moment, at least it’s a piece of good news and serves as a distraction.
Just like the Odubajo signing on social media, a number of fans were obviously preoccupied with other issues at the club but plenty were happy with the news, especially given the flak he has often taken over the years.
Give Liam a medal, for putting up with all the crap over the years lol
