Wednesday head south to face an awkward looking test against playoff placed Brighton and Hove Albion. With a run of poor form and bizarre refereeing decisions including last time out against Rotherham United. A dip in form has come at the worst time for the Owls and Carlos Carvalhal will be wanting to see his side grind out some form of a result this evening to return confidence after only taking two points out of 12.

Here`s the team news, the vital writers predicted score and lineup ahead of this weekend’s matchup.

Wednesday Team News –

Carlos Carvalhal is only without star man Fernando Forestieri who sits out his second game of his suspension following a rash decision from the referee against Hull City. However, despite this Carvalhal for the first time since December (Melo not included) has a full strength squad to pick from for the visit of the Millers. Sam Hutchinson is back in contention and should feature at the heart of the Owls midfield to spoil the Seagulls attacking mentality. It may be a different lineup from Carvalhal as he looks to mix his side up with a 4-4-2 to 4-5-1 formation.

Brighton Team News –

Playoff chasing Brighton have no new selection problems for the visit of Wednesday to the Amex. Full-back Gaeten Bong who was out with a thigh injury is back in training and captain Gordon Greer is available after recovering from a hamstring problem.
