Midlands duo Aston Villa and West Brom have been linked with the servives of Wednesday goalkeeper Lee Grant in the summer.

The former England U21 has been one of just a few players to come away from the Owls’ disastrous Championship campaign with any credit thanks to his top-drawer performances between the sticks.

And he could be set for a move away from Hillsborough in the summer – regardless of whether Wednesday manage to retain their Championship status this season.

Premier League side Aston Villa and top flight side to be West Brom have been the latest names linked with the former Derby County stopper.

But they’re set to be joined by a number of sides for the signature of the goalkeeper, who will be valued in excess of £2 million by Wednesday.

Birmingham City and Manchester United have also been loosely linked with Grant earlier this season.
