Wednesday have announced the signing of left-back, Morgan Fox. The 23-year-old has signed on a permanent deal from League One side, Charlton Athletic for an undisclosed fee rumoured to be in the region of £700,000.

The Owls second signing of the January window made a total of 116 appearances for the Addicks in over four years at the Valley. His switch from the capital will sure up the defence and add strength in depth for the second half of the season.
Fox is a bright prospect with caps for the Welsh Under-21 team. He was called up for the senior squad for the 2016 European Championship qualifiers against Cyprus and Israel.

He made his debut for Charlton against the Owls in the 2014 FA Cup fifth round, where the Addicks clinched a surprise 2-1 victory.

Despite speculation, Fox will not feature in this weekend’s third round FA cup clash away to Premier League, Middlesborough as he is cup tied. He is eligible to feature in the Owls next Championship fixture at home to fellow promotion chasers and local rivals, Huddersfield Town.

Fox will wear shirt number 43 when he lines up for the Owls.
