Sheffield Wednesday drew 1-1 with Barnsley on Saturday, throwing away a 1-0 lead less than ten minutes after breaking the deadlock. Cameron Dawson was at fault for the goal and was heavily criticised by supporters on social media as a result.
The 24-year-old came off his line to clear the ball but only managed to pass it to Cauley Woodrow who curled an effort into the back of the net. Wednesday failed to score a second goal at Oakwell and were made to settle for a point. Dawson is under-fire after his bad mistake and fans want to see a change made.
Westwood deserved to come out of the team due to his poor performances..Dawson has to be treated the same..Shouldn’t start next game #swfc

Dawson has made 22 appearances in all competitions this season, conceding 22 goals and keeping nine clean sheets. The 24-year-old replaced Keiren Westwood as Wednesday’s first-choice goalkeeper in November while Joe Wildsmith was promoted to No.2 on Boxing Day.
Garry Monk has a decision to make on who to start in goal against Luton Town on February 12. Westwood lost his place after making errors between the sticks, so Dawson could find his spot up for grabs.
