Owls head coach Stuart Gray has got a very busy summer ahead of him, and he alluded to this in the earlier YouTube video posted on Vital Wednesday.

But following a dramatic last day in the Championship season, which saw the title chase go down to the wire. Wednesday and in particular top scorer Nuhiu had a big say in the final standings.

Stuart Gray spoke about his teams character, the respect the players and he has for the fans who have backed the team passionately all season. Afterwards he was speaking to swfc.co.uk and said –

“We were like a rabbit in the headlights in the first half. We dropped off them, we showed them too much respect and that display was not good enough. I said to the players at halftime that the only positive thing is that we were only one goal down. We came out for the second half a different side and by the hour-mark, we had grown into the game.’

Gray went onto say –
“They might say we have nicked it overall but this team will battle to the end of every game, whether that`s the 90th minute, 93rd minute or 95th minute. So credit to the players for turning that game around and it was nice to see our goal scored in front of our own supporters. They have been magnificent all season home and away and I can`t thank them enough.”
