According to Dom Howson of the Sheffield Star, Sheffield Wednesday could be without Adam Reach against Luton Town.

The 27-year-old has been out of action with a toe injury that caused him to miss Wednesday’s 1-1 draw with Barnsley (February 8) and it remains to be seen if he’ll be available for selection.

Reach has made 33 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring and creating nine goals. The midfielder’s last outing was in Wednesday’s 0-0 draw with Millwall (February 1), but he may not return to the starting eleven when fit.

Garry Monk started Fernando Forestieri & Alessio Da Cruz on opposing flanks against Barnsley and had Jacob Murphy & Kadeem Harris on the bench, so Wednesday have enough options on the wing.

Morgan Fox is expected to return at left-back on Wednesday too, so Reach has a lot of competition to get back into the side.

The Owls desperately need a win against Luton. They currently sit 11th in the Championship with 44 points from 31 games, having picked up just five points from a possible 24 while being six points adrift of the playoffs.
