According to TEAMtalk, a total of six clubs from the Premier League, Championship and Scottish Premiership are ‘interested in a swoop’ for Morgan Fox this summer.

The 26-year-old is soon-to-be out of contract at Sheffield Wednesday and looks ‘set’ for the ‘exit doors’, so clubs will be free to make a move when his contract expires.

Fox has been in talks over a new deal since January without making any progress, so Wednesday fans shouldn’t hold their breath on his extending his deal.

The left-back may be weighing up all the interest from suitors before committing his future to any club. With Burnley, Norwich City, Bournemouth, West Bromwich Albion, Middlesbrough and Rangers keen, it’s hard to see Fox staying.

Who did Sheffield Wednesday sign Josh Windass on loan from?

The 26-year-old has made 102 appearances in all competitions since joining Wednesday from Charlton Athletic in 2017, scoring four goals and making six assists. He’s been a regular under Garry Monk this season, making 31 appearances across the board, so it’s clear his a vital part of the first-team.

Unfortunately, Fox has numerous clubs interested who are more attractive propositions than him staying at Hillsborough, so Wednesday may be fighting a losing battle to keep him.
