Wednesday winger Jermaine Johnson has been rewarded for his fine form in the blue and white stripes by being called up for the Jamaica squad.

Johnson will be part of the Reggae Boys squad that will travel to South Africa on Tuesday, November 17 for a friendly clash with the World Cup hosts.

The former Bradford City man is now the only Wednesday squad member to get regular call-ups at international level.

Owls boss Brian Laws will be hoping he returns unscathed for when Wednesday take on Ipswich Town in the Championship on Saturday, November 21.
