Wednesday have shown an interest in bringing Preston’s Paul McKenna to Hillsborough for next season, according to our sister site Vital Forest.

Our friends from the City Ground are reporting that Brian Laws is taking a look at the midfielder as Forest stall on a deal to take McKenna to the City Ground.

Laws has already snapped up Tommy Miller and Darren Potter and is also weighing up a deal for former Hull City player Ryan France, who’s in trial with the Owls.

But McKenna, a vastly experienced midfielder at Championship level, is also on his list according to Vital Forest, as the Owls gaffer looks to complete his squad for the 2009-10 season.
