Wednesday have slashed prices for students and the unemployed to watch matches at Hillsborough in the north-west corner stand to just £5.

Wednesday had opened up the stand, which has been used for large away followings in recent years, to those on Income Support or Job Seekers Allowance at the start of the campaign in a bid to make Wednesday matches more accessible in the current financial climate.

Ticket prices had been set at £10, but have now been slashed to just £5 with immediate effect, to enable students and the unemployed watch the Owls for next to nothing.

The deal will start for this weekend’s home clash against Coventry City, and tickets are available at the Hillsborough ticket office, with supporters wishing to claim these tickets showing a form of ID.
