Owls Set To Unveil Chairman Mandaric

Wednesday are set to officially unveil Milan Mandaric as the club’s new owner tomorrow morning, following the club’s EGM at Hillsborough.

Mandaric had struck a deal with the club, the Co-operative Bank and the club’s loan note holders to takeover at Hillsborough two weeks ago.

But an official announcement must wait until the deal gets the green light at the club’s EGM, which takes place at Hillsborough tomorrow morning.

The deal is set to go through without any hiccups tomorrow, with Mandaric set to be officially unveiled to the media as the new Owls chairman tomorrow morning.

The former Leicester City and Portsmouth chairman was present for a match at Hillsborough for the first time since announcing the deal on Saturday.

And he was in for a treat, with Wednesday welcoming him with a thumping 6-2 victory over Bristol Rovers in npower League One – a win which fired the Owls back into the automatic promotion spots.
