Sheffield Wednesday Ladies face the biggest game of their NCWFL campaign so far when they host their Middlesbrough counterparts.

The Owls sit third in the league table, one place behind Middlesbrough, and the game could decide who will book their place in the promotion play-offs.

Middlesbrough sit one point above Wednesday but the Owls have two games in hand on their opponents this weekend.

Owls boss Adam Smallman said: ‘We have prepared well and all the girls are up for on paper a very difficult game.

‘It has been a long season but all the players want to see this one out to the end. The ball is definetley in our court and it is up to us now.

‘On our day we are one of the best footballing sides in this division, but this is football and anything could happen. Middlesborough will be up for this game as they will want promotion aswell.’

The game kicks-off at 2pm at Worksop Town’s ground and Wednesday are looking for a bumper crowd to help them to victory.

Admission is £2 for adults and £1 OAPs but there is free admission for under-16s, SWFC season ticket holders and Worksop Town season ticket holders.
