Sheffield Wednesday Ladies will face a Yorkshire derby clash this weekend when they welcome Leeds city Vixens to their Worksop Town base on Sunday, kick-off 2pm.
Second-bottom Wednesday will be desperate for the points against a Vixens side who sit just a point above them in ninth.
Manager Dan Duke will have a full squad to pick from with Beth Gingell back in training, and Emily Scott back to full fitness.
Talking about the game ahead, assistant manager Liam Kelly said: ‘Sunday can’t come soon enough, we are excited to be getting back on the pitch for match day.
‘Nine times out of ten, we know what derby games give you; goals, commitment, desire, high tempo – but because of that comes the team and individual errors and moments of genius yet the moments of madness.
‘The team that makes the fewest errors and takes a larger percentage of their chances will win – no doubts about that. We win, pressure lowers and puts them down in the mix, we lose, pressure increases and we make the coming weeks harder; it’s that simple.’
