Wednesday have today allowed young goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith to join League One Barnsley on a youth loan.
The Owls academy product makes the short trip to Oakwell to join up with a Barnsley side, aiming to be in the play-offs come the end of the season.
Wildsmith has risen through the ranks with Wednesday, whilst also earning recognition on the international stage with the England Under-20s. He signed a two and a half year contract at Hillsborough in November 2013.
