Today’s High Court case against Wednesday, brought about by HMRC for an unpaid VAT bill, has been dismissed.

The Owls were in court over an unpaid VAT bill totaling £300,000, just weeks after having a High Court case for unpaid tax.

But the case has been dismissed after the bill was paid up in full, with Milan Mandaric, who has reached an agreement to buy the club, believed to have paid the amount in full.

The Owls are back at the High Court later this month after the court date to settle a £600,000 tax bill was dismissed last month, with Mandaric again expected to foot the bill.

The Serbian-American businessman stepped down from his position as Leicester City chairman at the weekend and is all-set to become Wednesday’s new chairman in the coming weeks, following an EGM.
