Tickets for the short trip to Turf Moor have been snapped up by Wednesday fans eager to see their side return to winning ways against Steve Cotterill’s men.

Over 2100 tickets have sold out for the trip over the Pennines – with the Owls occupying the lower tier of the Jimmy McIlroy stand following storm damage to the usual away end.

And the match should provide great entertainment for both sets of fans with both sides desperate to pick up points following a disastrous start to 2007.

Wednesday have yet to pick up a point in the league and have also been knocked out of the FA Cup at the first stage while Burnley fans have witnessed a similar vein of form which has seen them well and truly out of the race for the play-off spots despite a fine start to the season.

No further tickets will be available for the match and Wednesday fans are advised not to make the short trip to Turf Moor unless in possession of a valid ticket.
