Wednesday are set to be backed by a big following at all their pre-season friendly matches this summer – with tickets for Doncaster Rovers and Scunthorpe almost sold out.

Owls fans have already snapped up their full allocation for this Saturday’s friendly fixture against Grimsby Town at Blundell Park.

And tickets for South Yorkshire rivals Donny and Scunthorpe United are looking set to follow suit, with tickets limited this morning.

Wednesday have applied for further allocations for both matches and are hoping their request is met, although nothing is definite yet.

Alan Irvine takes his men to Glanford Park to face the Iron on Saturday, July 24 (kick-off 3pm), while Wednesday travel to the Keepmoat Stadium for their final friendly fixture on Saturday, July 31 (kick-off 3pm).
