The event on August 6 is an open invite to all fans ‘off and online’, subject to application, where they can ask questions on any issue ‘relative to’ the club and in return Chansiri has pledged complete ‘openness and transparency’.
It should be obvious to all that some straight answers to specific topics might not adhere to that, but it’s certainly a positive response from the club nonetheless as many chairmen in our current situation and with rumours swirling would simply release a statement via the official site.
Fans can apply by emailing website@swfc.co.uk with their names and contact details and group applications will be accepted if the same details are supplied.
The event is ticket only and successful applicants will be notified by the club.
Welcoming the news on social media, plenty of fans had requests for fellow supporters.
????????spot on – remember how far we have come since mandaric saved us and first chairman in years willing to spend to please fans – were to blame too wanting big signings ???? at least there isn’t a boardroom battle for ownership like elsewhere ????

What an excellent guy. Meeting regular with fans and discussing issues ????. For people that slate him, how much money do you think he has made from Sheffield Wednesday ????

For anyone who attends please be mindful this guy is funding our club out of his own pocket and not through a business. Yes he has been so badly ill advised and players have not performed to their max through injury or attitude.

I do like our chairman, people can think what think like about him but he doesn't shirk things. Open forums for fans be it good or bad news. Meeting people people face to face is something to be admired
