Wednesdayites have wasted no time in sending their messages of good luck to the team for Saturday’s crunch showdown with Wycombe Wanderers at Hillsborough.

Dave Jones and his side just need to equal Sheffield United’s result down at Exeter on the final day of the npower League 1 season tomorrow to secure promotion to the Championship.

Over 37,000 Owls fans will be packed into a sell-out Hillsborough for the occasion, offering support from all four sides of the stadium and looking to act as the ’12th man’.

And good luck messages for the team have been flooding in on the Vital forums and social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
