Wednesday’s out-of-favour defender Mark Reynolds has moved to SPL side Aberdeen on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Reynolds has seemingly been surplus to requirements at Hillsborough this term, making just six appearances so far this season with three of them coming in cup competitions.

The Scottish full-back had been linked with a move away from Hillsborough in January and Aberdeen have taken advantage of his position to snap him up until the end of the campaign.

The Dons could well make the deal a permanent one in the summer if the offer suits all parties.

Reynolds arrived at S6 in last January transfer window when former boss Alan Irvine brought him to the club from Motherwell, but he’s failed to cement a a position, making just 14 appearances in all competitions.
