Wednesday’s trip to Oakwell to take on Barnsley in December has been picked for live Sky television coverage.
The South Yorkshire derby clash will be played on the same day, Saturday, December 15, but will now kick-off at 5.20pm instead of the scheduled time of 3pm.
The Reds will be looking forward to another late afternoon kick-off on a Saturday after thrashing Birmingham City 5-0 at St Andrews at the weekend.
The Owls won 2-1 the last time the sides met at Oakwell, however, with Tommy Spurr and Jermaine Johnson netting the goals in January 2010.
