Wednesday boss Gary Megson has been fined £2,000 by the FA for improper conduct but has escaped receiving a touchline ban.
Megson was hit with the charge following his comments about referee Steve Rushton after the Owls’ 1-1 draw at Dagenham & Redbridge.
He pleaded guilty to a second charge of improper conduct and received the FA fine at a hearing yesterday, as well as being warned about his future conduct.
The Owls boss had requested a personal hearing with the FA disciplinary panel in Leeds yesterday.
But he’ll take to the dugout tomorrow when Wednesday travel to Walsall in npower League One.
