Sheffield Wednesday enjoyed a 3-1 win over Charlton Athletic on Saturday afternoon and Barry Bannan was one of many players singled out by supporters for an impressive performance.
The 29-year-old has recently been on the end of criticism from fans, but he confounded his critics at the Valley and was hailed on social media as a result.
No Wednesday player made more tackles or created more chances than Bannan on the day. The Scotland international picked up an assist for his troubles too, setting up Steve Fletcher for the opening goal of the game.
