Welcoming Leeds United to Hillsborough for the Yorkshire derby on Friday evening, Sheffield Wednesday fans were treated to two very nice goals from each side as we battled to a point.

Adam Reach opened the scoring for us with a fantastic looping effort that sailed over Bailey Peacock-Farrell, but Mateusz Klich scored a nice distance effort of his own to see the game end 1-1.

Having arguably hit the Goal of the Season, at least a contender, Reach was given a game rating of 7.63 by WhoScored.

Two shots on target from two efforts, almost a 70% pass accuracy but surprisingly the 25-year-old only had 33 touches, meaning his contribution otherwise was at the lower end of the scale.

Our top five best performers on the day were completed by Fernando Forestieri, Cameron Dawson, Jordan Thorniley and Matt Penney but we’ll certainly take the point and move on to keep our own current form going and slow and steady improvement.
