Sheffield Wednesday suffered disappointing back to back defeats as we faced Queens Park Rangers yesterday evening in the midweek Championship clash.

Three goals without reply from the hosts sent us to a pretty comprehensive 3-0 defeat but whilst there will be disappointment and frustration, the more optimistic of fan will feel there were positives and the scoreline was harsh.

QPR did have more chances on and off target though and they certainly made more of their efforts.

The pick of the bunch for us according to WhoScored was on loan Tottenham Hotspur youngster Josh Onomah who took a 7.71 rating from the website for his efforts on the day.

21-year-old fullback Ashley Baker took second place with 7.17 and the top five performers on the day were completed by Daniel Pudil, Joey Pelupessy and Morgan Fox.

I think it’s fair to say, largely a bad day all around really and for some with further injury news hitting it’ll feel like one of those weeks, but we’ll look to bounce back against Birmingham City and get ourselves going again.
