Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium has been confirmed as the venue for the npower League One play-off final this season.

United’s stadium, the biggest club stadium in the country, will host both League One and League Two play-off finals this season due to the Champions League final being held at Wembley, the usual play-off final venue, over the same weekend.

The Championship play-off final will still go ahead at Wembley, on Monday May 30, with the Champions League final scheduled for Saturday, May 28.

The League One play-off final will take place on Sunday, May 29.

It could Wednesday will be playing at Old Trafford this season if they fail to make the automatic promotion spots in League One and have to settle for a top-six spot.
