Wednesday’s want-away defender Richard Wood has put pen-to-paper on a deal with League Two side Notts County, according to media reports today.

This morning’s media are reporting that transfer-listed Wood has agreed a deal with money-bags County after failing to agree a new contract with Wednesday.

The Sun report also states he turned down offers from Ipswich Town, Coventry City and Sheffield United for the County move.

Of course, you can’t always believe what you read, but the Wakefield-born stopper has been heavily linked with County since being transfer-listed by boss Brian Laws last month.
