On loan Chelsea defender Michael Hector has already made his thoughts known on his more immediate future and put simply he wants to settle down, and having enjoyed his year at Hillsborough he wouldn’t mind it if Sheffield Wednesday became a permanent destination over the summer.
With it being a big couple of months for manager Steve Bruce as he looks to rebuild the side, whilst keeping an eye on the finances, Owls fans haven’t reacted well to news that Fulham have now entered the chase for the player.
Admittedly the original source for this appears to be the Sun so there is an element of reliability to their claims, but having been relegated from the Premier League this year and having seen him crowned as our Player of the Year, the 26-year-old is probably on the radar of a few clubs really.
We’ll have to see if anything comes of it and it will depend on what Chelsea want in terms of a transfer fee, but it hasn’t gone down well on social media.

Hector going to Fulham is just Venancio all over again and I don’t think I’m ready for that

No, look at their centre back list on loan and current squad. Hector would be somewhat near the bottom of that in terms of breaking into their matchday squad. Personally think he’ll go Fulham after their interest as it’s more convenient lifestyle wise but I hope I’m wrong.
