Wednesday boss Gary Megson has made two changes for the FA Cup clash at Birmingham City today.

Striker Neil Mellor returns to the starting line-up in place of Gary Madine, who is cup-tied. Mellor will partner former Birmingham hitman Clinton Morrison in the Wednesday attack and will hope to continue his fine goalscoring form in this season’s competition.

Daniel Jones is also brought back into the starting eleven after missing out at Tranmere in midweek and will start in midfield.

Blues boss Alex McLeish has tinkered with his starting eleven and the Owls defence will have to fend off Obafemi Martins and Cameron Jerome.

Birmingham: Doyle, Murphy, Johnson, Carr, Parnaby, Hleb, Beausejour, Fahey, Bowyer, Jerome, Martins. Substitutes: Foster, Larsson, Gardner, Bentley, Mutch, Phillips, Zigic

Wednesday: Weaver, Spurr, R Johnson, M Morrison, Reynolds, Jones, Osbourne, O’Connor, Teale, C Morrison, Mellor. Substitutes: Jameson, Hinds, Beevers, Sedgwick, Palmer, Potter, Heffernan
